8 Children In West Jakarta With Accounting For Acute Kidneys, Complaints For Fever And Can't Waste Small Water

JAKARTA - The West Jakarta Health Office (Jakbar) recorded eight children in their environment who have acute kidney failure to this day."There are eight total cases in West Jakarta, an average age of under five years," said Head of West Jakarta Health Sub-dept., Erizon Safari when contacted in Jakarta, Antara, Thursday, October 20.Erizon said the eight children were domiciled in the Cengkareng and Kebon Jeruk sub-districts. The eight patients, continued Erizon, were known to have the same symptoms before being identified as having acute kidney failure."In general, everyone enters with complaints of not being able to urinate, now other things may have a fever," said Erizon.However, Erizon could not confirm the cause of the eight children's acute kidney failure.He also could not confirm whether they were taking the hot reduction drug that had been suspected of being the main cause of acute kidney failure in children."It can't be proven just that learning from foreign countries is allegedly due to the solvent of the drug," said Erizon.However, Erizon ensured that the eight residents were in intensive care at the hospital.Erizon also appealed to residents to adopt a healthy lifestyle and eat clean food to avoid acute kidney failure.To note, 49 residents of DKI Jakarta were declared to have acute kidney failure. The number of cases is an accumulation from January to October 2022.
