Next Week, Judge Will Care To Continue The Examination Of Putri Candrawati
JAKARTA - The prosecutor has finished reading the response to the exception or memorandum of objection from the defendant Putri Candrawathi. Next week, it is the turn of the panel of judges to give an interlocutory decision, decide whether or not to examine the murder case of Brigadier J.
"We have postponed this trial to an interim decision," said presiding judge Wahyu Imam Santoso during a trial at the South Jakarta District Court, Thursday, October 20.
The trial with an agenda for the interim decision will be held on Wednesday, October 26.
So, the panel of judges has time to consider several things so that later they decide whether to continue the examination of Putri Candrawathi.
"The trial starts in the morning, Wednesday, October 26," said Wahyu.
Previously, the Public Prosecutor asked the panel of judges to reject the exception or memorandum of objection of the legal advisor team Putri Candrawathi on charges of the alleged murder of Nopriansyah Yosua Hutabarat alias Brigadier J.
"Rejecting all arguments of exception or memorandum of objection from the legal advisor, the defendant Putri Candrawathi," said the prosecutor.
In addition, the prosecutor also asked the panel of judges to accept the indictment which was registered with PDM-246/JKTSL/10/2022, dated October 5, 2022.
The reason was that the indictment file that was prepared had met the formal and material elements.
"Declaring that the examination of the defendant Putri Candrawarthi will continue," he said.
Finally, the prosecutor also asked the panel of judges to decide that Putri Candrawathi should still be detained. This is because the trial process must continue.
"Declaring Putri Candrawathi remains in custody," said the prosecutor.
