Wilder's Victory Over Helenius Make Sure The Duel Against Ruiz Is The Most Eagerly Awaited
JAKARTA - World Boxing Council (WBC) President Mauricio Sulaimgan confirmed there will be an eliminator fight for the WBC heavyweight title between Deontay Wilder and Andy Ruiz.
Last week, Wilder finished Robert Helenius with a brutal blow. He knockout his opponent in the first round.
"That's impressive. It was a demonstration of force," Sulaiman was quoted as saying by Marca, Thursday, October 20.
"Wilder hit very hard. After two complicated defeats (which he experienced) you don't know how that thought came about, but I see him as if he is at his best performance," continued Sulaiman.
About the next fight of "The Bronze Bomber", it will be determined at the Convention in Acapulco, Mexico next week.
"At the convention, all the final elimizers will be ordered, including Ruiz-Wilder," said Sulaiman.
The WBC boss also anticipates that due to the strength of the beatings thatstroyer Ruiz has, it will be a great fight with a lot of confusion.
"Andy Ruiz is a very diverse fighter, he is a cruel bat. The destroyer is much shorter than Wilder, it could be complicated for him."
