JAKARTA - Although issues related to the recession have circulated globally, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy has not remained silent. Sandiaga Uno responded to a potential recession that is thought to occur next year.
Specifically, Sandiaga Uno will maintain purchasing power and assist capital in the tourism and creative economy sectors. It is hoped that this step can maintain domestic economic stability.
"Alhamdulillah, with collaboration between various parties in maintaining the purchasing power of the tourism sector and the creative economy through easing community mobility that prioritizes local products and suppresses imports. We should be grateful, but we should not be complacent," said Sandiaga Uno in a press release, quoted Wednesday, October 19.
Thus, Sandiaga Uno and the entire team in his ministry will provide assistance. Where the assistance will be aimed at tourism actors and the creative economy.
For example, the facility program for improving the competence of local human resources, incentives, and assistance in promoting regional superior tourist attractions, and strengthening implementation in the sector.
Sandiaga Uno also emphasized the distribution of capital assistance. Especially those intended for product marketing and market development.
