Only Up Ring 4 Rivers, 'Irland Horizon' Chooses Retired From Boxing World

JAKARTA - Game of Thrones star, Hafthor Bjornsson, has declared retirement from boxing. He only had four fights.

His last fight came last March. The 33-year-old Icelandian giant beat Eddie Hall unanimously.

The man nicknamed "The Mountain" is often associated with the fight against WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. However, it was never realized.

After confirming his decision to hang up boxing gloves, he claimed he never really loved this sport.

"I admit there was a time when there was talk between Tyson Fury and me, his team and I, there was an upgrade but it never worked," he said as reported by The Sun.

"Now I've made a difficult decision and the reason why it took me so long to make this video is because it's actually a very difficult thing to talk about."

"I have made the decision to get out of boxing, not to compete again in boxing, say goodbye to boxing and not fight again," he continued.

Thor admitted that he had had a good boxing career for two and a half years. He did not deny, at first many doubted.

However, he then proved all these assumptions wrong by working hard and making some people proud.

"In reality, that passion never existed, it was all because I never really loved this sport," he said.

"That's the truth, but I really respect this sport because I know how much work to do," Thor continued.

Bjornsson, who won the World's Strongest Human pageant in 2018, will now focus on breaking the world record he currently holds.
