So far, he said, catastrophic diseases including kidney failure have become one of the cost components borne by BPJS Kesehatan.There are at least three health services for kidney disease covered by BPJS Kesehatan, namely kidney transplantation, dialysis, and treatment of CAPD (Coninous Ambtalory Peritoneal Dialysis).Launching BPJS Kesehatan, the amount of costs borne for kidney transplantation has reached Rp378 million and includes examination, observation, medicines and healing.Meanwhile, the cost guarantee from BPJS Kesehatan for all dialysis treatment measures is Rp92 million per year, if it is done twice a week per patient. The amount of costs borne by BPJS Kesehatan for CAPD to recover is IDR 76 million per year per patient.Ghufron said the entire budget includes the treatment of mysterious acute kidney disorders."As long as we submit claims to BPJS Kesehatan through the correct procedures, we are responsible," he said.The number of acute kidney failure cases reported to the Indonesian Ministry of Health until October 18, 2022 was 206 out of 20 provinces with a death toll of 99 children, where the death rate of patients treated at RSCM reached 65 percent, said Ghufron Mukti.
