There Is No Corona Virus In Indonesia
JAKARTA - The Director General of Disease Prevention and Control of the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) Anung Sugihartono confirmed that until now no one has tested positive for the cornanvirus novel or the corona virus in Indonesia.
"As stated by the Minister (Health) to this day, no coronavirus novels have been found in Indonesia," he said, during a press conference at the Ministry of Health's Building, Jalan Rasuna Said, Kuningan, Jakarta, Monday, January 27.
However, Anung emphasized that until now the Ministry of Health had recorded 13 people who were being observed because they were suspected of having certain symptoms that led to the corona virus. They are scattered in several hospitals in Indonesia, namely Sanglah Hospital Bali and Hasan Sadikin Hospital in Bandung.
"Now there are 13 people under observation, and 11 results have been negative," he said.
Meanwhile, the other two people are still under the management of the Health Research and Development Agency of the Ministry of Health.
According to Anung, those who fall into the category of people under observation because they experience cough and cold symptoms. Of the 13 people, not one of them was included in the suspect or suspected category of being exposed to the corona virus.
"But this is once again people under observation, not about the corona novel," said Anung.
Due to this situation, Anung appealed to the whole community to remain vigilant and lead a healthy lifestyle. He also asked the public not to approach the source of the disease spread by the corona virus.
"Rest, eat enough, exercise balance. Don't get close to the source of the disease by coming to Wuhan, don't get close to poultry, marine animals, wild animals that are suspected of being contagious," he explained.
As is known, the coronavirus or corona virus, which has recently been excited because of its spread, has killed 58 people in China. Not only in China, this virus has also spread to 13 other countries.
Based on WHO data dated January 26, the 13 countries, namely, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, the United States, Vietnam, Nepal, France, Macau, Hong Kong and Australia.
