JAKARTA - The Class I Immigration Office for Non-TPI South Jakarta has issued thousands of valid passports 10 years since Wednesday 12 October based on Article 2A Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia Number 18 of 2022."To date, approximately 1000 passports have been obtained. This is intended for ages over 17 years," said Head of the Class I Immigration Office for Non-TPI South Jakarta, Feluika Sengky Ratna, as reported by Antara, Saturday, October 15.Sengky added that applicants who are still under 17 years old still use passports whose validity period is five years.In addition, citizens of citizenship must follow the age of 21 years to be able to apply for a passport with the latest validity period.As for how to apply for a new passport, namely preparing documents such as Identity Cards (KTP), Family Cards (KK), birth certificates, diplomas or marriage certificates.As for the replacement passport, it is enough to carry an old passport and an ID card. The length of the process of making a new passport is the same as a regular passport, which is four working days."Without a change in the passport PNBP tariff, it remains Rp. 350,000 for regular passports and Rp. 650,000 for electronic passports and polycarbonate electronic passports," he said.Sengky added that for the same day's passport, the applicant could add a fee of Rp. 1 million.According to him, only the South Jakarta Immigration Office has opened a weekend passport service."The applicant can apply for a passport at the weekend from 08.00 to 16.00 WIB," he concluded.
