TikTok Will Add Video Duration To Three Minutes

JAKARTA - TikTok is known for its short videos that take no more than a minute. But now they intend to present a video with a longer duration.

This is known to social media consultant Matt Navarra on his personal Twitter account. He said that the TikTok update allows users to upload a three-minute video.

Meanwhile, according to The Verge report, Thursday, December 3, the additional duration of the video is still in the early stages of testing. TikTok also hasn't announced when the app update will be rolled out.

Although it is in the testing phase and has not yet been rolled out globally. A number of TikTok users have found several uploaded videos with a longer duration than usual.

As is known, TikTok is synonymous with short video content which is no more than a minute. The video format is considered successful in attracting social media users compared to long-duration impressions on YouTube.

Of course, with a longer duration span, TikTok creators can have more time to create creative content. For example, making movie reviews or makeup tutorials, which are generally on YouTube.
