Wahyu Setiawan's Detention Was Extended And Harun Masiku Who Knows Where

JAKARTA - Three suspects in a bribery case related to the interim replacement (PAW) of members of the DPR RI have their prison terms extended. This extension was carried out considering that the anti-graft agency was still investigating the case.

"WSE (Wahyu Setiawan), ATF (Agustiani Tio Fridelina), and SAE (Saeful) have their detention extended at the detention center for 40 days from January 29 to March 8, 2020," said Plt. KPK spokesman for prosecution, Ali Fikri, told reporters, Monday, January 27.

Although Wahyu Setiawan, Agustiani, and Saeful have felt the coldness of the KPK prison floor, until now, one of the suspects in the case who gave bribes to the former KPU commissioner, Harun Masiku, is still unknown.

The PDIP candidate who comes from the South Sumatra I electoral district is still a fugitive after previously being reported to have fled to Singapore. However, recently, the immigration authorities said, Harun has been in Indonesia, to be precise, Jakarta since 7 January.

Responding to Harun's still fugitive, KPK chairman Firli Bahuri said looking for a candidate from the bull party was like looking for a needle in the husk. "Finding that person (Harun Masiku) is not easy, yes, it's the same as looking for a needle in the husk, okay," he told reporters at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Central Jakarta, Monday, January 27.

Although he seems slow, the KPK chairman from the Bhayangkara Corps is confident that he will find the fugitive. Because, Firli claims, his men have been looking for Harun in various places. Including the place that is suspected as the hiding place

"Is it in Sulawesi, whether in South Sumatra, we have done everything but nothing, we have not caught it," he said.

Previously reported, the KPK named Harun as a suspect in giving bribes to Wahyu Setiawan through his confidant who is a former member of Bawaslu, Agustiani.

This bribe was given because Harun wanted to replace Nazarudin Kiemas, who died after being elected as a member of the Indonesian Parliament for the 2019-2024 period.

In fact, according to the provisions of candidate replacement in Article 426 Paragraph 3 of Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning Elections, Nazarudin should be replaced by Riezky Aprilia, who received the second highest number of votes in the Election of South Sumatra I with 44,402 votes.
