Ramos Denying Rumors Mbappe Will Leave: He's Happy In Paris

JAKARTA - Seasoned Spanish defender Sergio Ramos has denied the issue of Kylian Mbappe wanting to leave Paris Saint-Germain in the coming winter.

The Spanish centre-back commented on the news about Mbappe's intention to leave PSG, after feeling cheated by the French capital club.

"The only thing I can tell you is that I am Kylian's best friend, as far as I know he is very happy here in Paris," Ramos said after PSG's draw against Benfica in the Champions League., Thursday.

"He renewed his contract this year, I don't think the rumors (want to leave) are true, so we're still focused on what we're doing and we're not paying attention to the news circulating."

Ramos also talked about a possible return to represent Spain for the World Cup in Qatar.

"I'm obviously happy to be back with the [PSG] team, get as many minutes to play as possible and play at a good level. My dream is, of course, to return to the national team, but it doesn't depend on me," Ramos said.

"Whatever the coach considers is always very reasonable, but of course my dream always comes back to represent my country."
