Presidential Aircraft Depository Palace Damaged Kunker Jokowi Cancel To East Java
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) canceled a working visit (kunker) to East Java (East Java). The head of the Presidential Secretariat (Kasetpres) Heru Budi Hartono emphasized that the account was canceled not because the presidential plane was damaged.
"No, nothing. It's normal. The presidential plane is safe," said Head of the Presidential Secretariat (Kasetpres) Heru Budi Hartono at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, October 12.
Heru explained that President Jokowi did not leave for East Java on Monday, October 10 because there was an internal agenda and bad weather, so the flight was canceled.
According to Heru, ahead of the permit departure on Monday, October 10, the weather at Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport, East Jakarta, was not friendly due to rain.
"We have to have a visibility of 3,000, this is a visibility of 1,000, of course, we have to stay first, we think it's like that, we wait a long time," he said.
When the presidential entourage waited for the weather to improve, the event that Jokowi wanted to attend in East Java continued.
"At the same time, East Java has already been going on, we are waiting for the weather to be 30 minutes, then start the engine for 20 minutes, it's been 50 minutes, the event there has been completed," he said.
Jokowi then delegated the agenda of a working visit in East Java to the Minister of SOEs, Erick Thohir.
"So it's simple, it rains twice. It's raining here (Jakarta) too, it's the same there," said Heru.
Jokowi's agenda in East Java on Monday, October 10, said Heru, is related to the activities of sugarcane plantation companies from the Ministry of SOEs that can produce bioethanol products.
The Ministry of SOEs on Monday, October 10 in Mojokerto, East Java, inaugurated a sugar cane plantation company called Sugar Co to maintain food and energy security amid the threat of global uncertainty.
