PSG Embarrasses MU 3-1, The Competition For Big 16 Tickets Is Getting Tighter

JAKARTA - Manager Ole Gunnar Solksjaer's bad decision, who did not quickly replace Fred in the second half, gave Paris Saint-Germain a way to win over Manchester United 3-1 in the Champions League match at Old Trafford Stadium so that the struggle for tickets for the last 16 of Group H Champions League became increasingly strict.

MU, PSG and RB Leipzig now both have nine points, so the determination of who has the right to advance to the last 16 will last until the final week, Antara noted according to the official UEFA website.

In the last week Manchester United will travel to the headquarters of RB Leipzig, while PSG are predicted to win easily because only against Istanbul Basaksehir, who has been confirmed to be knocked out in Paris.

At the beginning of the match PSG immediately played an attacking game. After just six minutes, Neymar forced De Gea to pick up the ball faster. Starting from a blocked Mbappe shot, the ball vomited towards Neymar to be completed with a kick into the left corner of the goal.

MU, which only needs one more point, is waiting for an attack at the beginning of the match. Alessandro Florenzi creates dangerous opportunities. His hard kick outside the penalty box can still be pushed over by De Gea. After 15 minutes of the game, MU just played openly and locked the PSG defense.

MU's surging attack paid off on 32 minutes. Marcus Rashford's kick from outside the penalty box hit Diallo's feet, the ball then changed direction and rattled PSG's net.

Three minutes of the second half running, MU has a golden opportunity to turn ahead. Unfortunately Anthony Martial's cheat received Rashford's mature feed through a fast counter-attack scheme instead bouncing over the crossbar.

Cavani almost broke into the goal of his former club. Unfortunately his shot hit the crossbar of Keylor Navas. The ball vomited which Martial then controlled and immediately released a kick which was blocked by the PSG defender.

Likewise with Marquinhos' chances. His header received Neymar's cross against the post outside De Gea's goal. The opportunity was the first for PSG in the second half.

Shortly after that opportunity, Marquinhos then listed his name on the scoreboard thanks to his cheating to receive Abdou Diallo's chaotic pass in the penalty box.

Disastrous for the Red Devils when they have to finish the match with 10 players in the 70th minute. Fred received a second yellow card after violating Ander Herrera in a contest for the ball.

Fred had previously been fortunate not to get a red card in the first half but when even match commentators predicted Fred would be drawn in the second half, Solskjaer was instead playing the Brazilian midfielder who often made those reckless tackles.

Before Fred was sent out of the field, MU nearly equalized several times and pressed PSG, who seemed to only rely on the movements of Neymar and Mbappe. After Fred was sent off, PSG had the upper hand but MU had several chances to create.

Solksjaer also made a blunder by bringing in Odion Ighalo to limp on the left after Wan Bissaka was withdrawn.

As a result, at the end of the match, Neymar made it 3-1. With a quick counter-attack, Rafinha sent feedback to Neymar, who just struck the ball to complete PSG's 3-1 victory.
