DKI Residents Are Asked to Be Alert Tonight! Water Level at Depok Monitoring Post Reaches 2 Meters
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) has deployed 267 officers from the Rapid Response Team (TRC) to five areas in the capital to anticipate further flooding.
"We are monitoring and deploying Disaster Officers/TRC in five city areas in DKI," said Head of BPBD DKI Isnawa Adji quoting Antara, Tuesday, October 11.
The distribution of the TRC was carried out after the Depok Monitoring Post was on Alert Two at 19.48 WIB and the Pesanggrahan Monitoring Post was on Alert at 20.00 WIB.
The DKI BPBD recorded the Depok Monitoring Post with the status of Alert Two with the water level reaching 280 centimeters (cm) at 19.48 WIB.
He asked the public to be vigilant, especially for residents who live not far from the Ciliwung River route because, in the next six hours, water is expected to reach Balekambang, Bali Mester, Bidara Cina, Bukit Duri, Cawang, Cikoko, Cililitan, Duren Tiga and Gedong.
