The HI Roundabout Was Flooded, Allegedly Due To The Wacor PDAM Pipeline

JAKARTA - A puddle of water occurred in the HI Roundabout area, Gondangdia Village, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, October 11. However, the puddle does not interfere with the access of vehicles passing through the area.

The Menteng sub-district head, Suprayogi, confirmed that there was a puddle caused by a leak from a water pipe around the area.

"Due to the leakage of PDAM's pipe," said Suprayogi when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, October 11.

To overcome the puddle, the Camat deployed PPSU officers to drain water from the asphalt.

"We have deployed 10 PPSUs from Gondangdia Village to dry water. Only initial handling," he said.

Meanwhile, Head of Central Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. H Asri Rizal confirmed the existence of puddles in the HI Roundabout area. Currently, his party is still handling puddles.

"There is (a leaking pipe). It is under treatment for suction," he said.
