Control Inflation, The Regent Of Sambas Asks The Community To Start Planting Vegetables In Home Crevices
SAKAMBAS - The Regent of Sambas, West Kalimantan, Satono invites the public to use their yard to grow vegetables and chilies in order to participate in controlling inflation.
"The global economy is uncertain, disasters are everywhere. My message is to accompany the house, plant vegetables, don't buy it. We are ashamed that we people are lifting a lot of land, but buy chili and kale from Singkawang," he said, reported by Antara, Sunday, October 9.
For this reason, I encourage every household in Sambas Regency to grow in the yard of the house so that food ingredients such as vegetables and spices do not need to buy at the market, he added.
Regarding the food assistance from the Governor of West Kalimantan, Sutarmidji, who immediately distributed 300 packages to residents of the Langkat District in order to control inflation and mitigation after the increase in subsidy price adjustments was highly appreciated and grateful.
"It has not been two weeks since the Governor of West Kalimantan came to Sambas specifically to the Langkat. I am very grateful that this is a sign that his attention for Sambas Regency is very high," he explained.
Meanwhile, the Governor of West Kalimantan, Sutarmidji, said the same thing. He agreed with the statement of the Regent of Sambas so that every household plans to grow in their yard to reduce inflation.
"The way we control inflation after the fuel adjustment is there are two, the first is market operations, the second is distributing food assistance. That's right, said the Regent, if there is an empty yard, I never buy chilies, I if there are more fish, once you can harvest it can be 600 kilos," he said.
