Fiscalize Rp1.04 Billion, Agam Regency Has Renovation Of 108 Uninhabitable House Units This Year
LUBUKBASUNG - The government of Agam Regency, West Sumatra has rehabilitated as many as 389 units of Uninhabited Houses (RTLH) in the area using the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) for three years since 2020, 2021 and 2022.
"The RTLH rehabilitation is the main ideas of the thoughts of the local DPRD members," said Secretary of the Agam Housing and Settlement Service, Rudi Hendri, quoted by Antara, Sunday, October 9.
He said the 389 housing units were repaired in 2020 as many as 126 units, 2021 as many as 155 housing units and 2022 as many as 108 housing units. In 2022, he added, budgeted Rp1.04 billion for the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD).
One housing unit with a budget of Rp. 10 million and the funds was transferred to the designated building shop account. The funds to buy building materials and construction are carried out independently.
"The program is currently running under the supervision of facilitators and hopes it will be completed in the near future," he said.
He said the repaired house was based on land, wooden walls and tin roofs.
Currently, the total number of uninhabitable houses in the area is 5,646 units spread over 16 sub-districts.
The Agam Regency Government tries to repair the house every year, so that there are no more earth-story houses, wooden walls and clump-based roofs.
"We are trying to repair the house and local DPRD members will allocate principal funds to repair the house," he said.
