Prayer And Remembrance For Victims Of Tracing, Supporter Representatives In Makassar Read Five Declaration Points
MAKASSAR - A number of football supporters' representatives declared a peaceful message after holding prayers and collective remembrance, together with Yasin and tahlilan readings for the victims of the tragedy of the Kanjuruhan Stadium at the Makassar Karebosi Field Tribun, South Sulawesi, Saturday night, October 8.
The declaration was carried out by representatives of football club supporters such as Arema FC (Aremania), PSM Makassar (The Macz Man), Persija Jakarta (Jak Mania), Persebaya Surabaya (Bonek) Persib Bandung (Bobotoh), Persela Lamongan (LA Mania) and Madura United (K-Conk).
There are five points of declaration, read in turns. First, ready to uphold the spirit of sportsmanship and togetherness in supporting each proud team
Second, ready to be a good, peaceful, and safe supporter in Makassar City. Third, be ready to continue to maintain friendship and synergy between supporters in Makassar City.
Fourth, ready to maintain security with the TNI Police in every match that exists in this city. And fifth, together we are strong and in the name of humanity for all brothers and sisters.
The chairman of Aremania Pinisi Makassar's representative, Ahmad Fahcrozi, after the declaration said that he fully supports the implementation of football in a peaceful and sporting manner. Even though he is Aremania wandering in Makassar, he hopes that sportsmanship and solidity between consumers will continue to be maintained.
"There should be no hostility here, no. All supporters have the same soul, even though they are different from the club. We hope that the incident in Kanjuruhan will not happen again," he explained, quoted by Antara, Sunday, October 9.
His party has high hopes for the incident at the Kanjuruhan Stadium, Malang to be seriously investigated by the authorities in a transparent and open manner to the public.
"It was thoroughly investigated. However, we don't want to blame anyone, now we are grieving with all our supporters, God willing, everything will go well and be carried out as expected," Ahmad hoped.
The same thing was conveyed by PSM Makassar fans, Arie by stating that the incident at the Kanjuruhan Stadium that killed 131 people should not be repeated in all stadiums in Indonesia. He hopes that PSSI as a football organization and the Ministry of Sports evaluates all stadiums and their security standards.
"We hope that there will be no more tear gas shots, which in turn will make all supporters in Indonesia shed tears of grief after the incident. Because it is clear, FIFA rules prohibit it. To PSSI, the Minister of Youth and Sports immediately evaluate and improve the quality of our football," he said.
