52 Years Of Not Music, Grandma-Nenek Gokil Dara Puspita Makes A Synchronize Fest Spectacled Kagum

JAKARTA - The Indonesian rock n roll legend group, Dara Puspita, has finally returned after 52 years of being unmusical. Calling himself a "gopal grandmother", the performance of this great 1960s-era band really amazed the audience.

Dara Puspita came in full formation namely Titiek Hamzah (vocal, bass), Titiek AR (guitar), Lies AR (guitar) and Susy Nander (drum).

The first woman rock n roll band in Indonesia immediately received a lively welcome when it appeared on stage. The song "Surabaya" also opened their appearance.

"Just bring me one song. I've been high. After 52 years, I was contacted by Synchronize or not, I said yes," said Titiek Hamzah when appearing on the Synchronize Fest 2022 stage in Kemayoran, Jakarta, Saturday night, quoted by Antara.

Even though he is old, Dara Puspita is still enthusiastic about music. The four of them looked very skilled with their respective musical instruments and enjoyed their performance.

The audience, who is more suitable to be the grandson of Dara Puspita personnel, also continues to encourage them by shaking along while occasionally shouting, "Keren, Oma!"

"We started from a hit and there was a work from my senior, Titiek Puspa. 'Come here', let's sing with the gokil grandmothers," said Titiek Hamzah.

Cited music from Dara Puspita makes anyone who listens play along.

Although Titiek Hamzah took a break several times by sitting in front of the drums, Dara Puspita's appearance was perfect.

Dara Puspita also invited several female singers such as Endah from Endah & Ressa, Bonita, Miss Ria and Fluer.

"There are Endah, Bonita, Fluer, and Perempuan Pusbena," said Titiek Hamzah.

These female performers performed "Patai Pattaya", "Hey Kasih", "Whole Lotta Love" from Led Zedplin, "Na Na Hey Kiss Him Goodbye" from Steam and "The Pak Lurah Party".

"Hopefully female musicians will be more excited and live a perfect life in music in Indonesia," said Titiek Hamzah before ending the show.

Titiek Hamzah also asked the entire audience to jointly sing "Atmu Negeri" before leaving the stage.
