Not Playing, Holyfield Against Tyson
JAKARTA - Evander Holyfield does not seem to be playing games. He wants his third fight against Mike Tyson to happen.
In his latest Instagram post, the former world champion challenges 'Iron' Mike. He can't wait to get back to fighting with the boxer who bit his ear back in 1997.
"No more chasing. Let's get in the ring and dance one more time Mike. Time to give the world what they really want to see. # HolyfieldTyson3," wrote Holyfield completing the picture of his battle with Tyson with the caption "Chasing Tyson".
The Real Deal won by TKO in the 11th round over Tyson on November 9, 1996. After a year, June 26 to be precise, he again faced The Neck Concrete.
This second battle was adorned with the incident of Tyson biting Holyfield's ear twice. He was disqualified and lost his boxing license in the state of Nevada, although he was later able to recover from the 'sin'.
Holyfield has challenged Tyson multiple times on social media. Last month, he even posted photos and videos of his fight against Tyson.
“Who wants to see Holyfield vs Tyson volume 3? Or who else would you like to see when you enter the ring at an exhibition, ”wrote Holyfield
TMZ claims, Holyfield (58) offered trilogy battles several times. However, it is suspected that 54 year old Tyson is afraid of fighting Holyfield.
"It's not even about money at the moment, I think Tyson is scared. We've offered a few times and Tyson vs Holyfield is a fight that should be," a source told TMZ.
Earlier, in May, a poster was released for the Holyfield vs Tyson Volume 3 battle which was scheduled to take place on July 11 in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia.

Seven months on, there was never any official confirmation from the promoter. But the poster that was released has sparked rumors on social media.
Tyson himself has returned to the boxing ring. He fought Roy Jones Jr in an exhibition match which ended in a draw on Saturday.
