TANGERANG - Police arrested a methamphetamine dealer with the initials S. During the arrest, the police found evidence in the form of 67 packs of methamphetamine ready for distribution. The Tangerang City Metro Police Chief, Kombes Zain Dwi Nugroho, said the incident occurred at the Taman Semanan Housing, Kalideres, West Jakarta, Wednesday, October 5, at 17.00 WIB.
"Officers managed to secure 67 packages (packs) of clear plastic suspected of containing methamphetamine. with a total weight of 13.87 grams," said Zain in his statement, Friday, October 7.
Zain explained that the arrests stemmed from reports from the public and officers making observations and investigations.
The characteristics of the perpetrators are in accordance with those informed by the public. Then it was approached and searched, it turned out that the evidence of methamphetamine was found," he said.
Based on S's confession, Zain revealed that the perpetrator got the illicit goods from a man with the initials I whose name is now on the wanted list (DPO).
"The suspect with the initials I is currently still being searched (DPO)," he said.
For his mention, S was charged with punishment for abusing the type of methamphetamine as referred to in Article 112 paragraph (2) Sub-Article 114 paragraph (1) of the Republic of Indonesia Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics.
