After The Coordination Meeting With The Government And Police, PSSI Has A Wavy Of Tasks Regarding Match Security
JAKARTA - PSSI has held a coordination meeting with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Police and 18 participating clubs of Liga 1 2022/2023 as an evaluation and improvement of security procedures for organizing football. From that meeting, PSSI received many tasks to complete.
Deputy General Chairperson of PSSI, Iwan Budianto, said that one of the tasks obtained was to make a match security regulation with the National Police.
PSSI gets a lot of work. As has been done in the last few days, we were involved in drafting the National Police regulations regarding securing high match," Iwan said at a press conference after the coordination meeting at the Wisma Kemenpora, Thursday, October 6 afternoon.
In the task given, PSSI will also be assisted by the Ministry of Health to make procedures for match safety. This was welcomed by PSSI.
"Earlier in this meeting, we also received information from the Ministry of Health that PSSI would receive rules on match health procedures. We are grateful that the government facilitated us," he continued.
The Kanjuruhan tragedy in Malang is a moment for PSSI to harmonize FIFA regulations and the (UU) law regarding football matches. Therefore, this will be used as a valuable opportunity to improve Indonesian football.
PSSI is an organization that collects FIFA. PSSI is bound by FIFA rules. Before this incident, it was impossible to equate FIFA rules with the rules of this country's law," Iwan added.
"God willing, this will be an improvement in Indonesian football in the future because there are many things that are made now, what will be accommodated by FIFA," he said.
