The Crowd Had Visited The House Of Mrs. Mahfud MD, Polda: Don't Be Provoked, Come On Jogo East Java
JAKARTA - The National Police dispersed the crowd who came to the residence of the mother of the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Mahfud MD in Pamekasan, Madura, East Java.
Head of Public Relations of the East Java Regional Police, Kombes Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, said the dissolution was conducive. The arrival of the masses to Mahfud MD's mother was said not to take long.
After the Pamekasan Police Chief appealed to the masses to return to their homes, the masses dispersed
"The police chief immediately stepped down to disperse preemptively or was advised and only lasted 5 minutes, (the masses) had returned to their respective vehicles," said Kombes Trunoyudo as quoted by Antara, Tuesday, December 1.
According to Trunoyudo, the arrival of the masses at the house was a spontaneous action by the masses after they expressed their opinion at the Police.
"The submission of opinions at the Police is related to the summoning of the HRS (Rizieq Shihab) examination at Polda Metro Jaya," he said.
He appealed to the people of East Java not to be easily provoked in order to maintain a conducive situation in East Java.
"To maintain a conducive climate for the East Java region, we urge the people not to be provoked by anything. Come on, join East Java," he said.
Previously, a 28-second video was circulated on the messaging application showing a crowd dominated by men in Muslim clothes visiting a house. In the video, a narrator can be heard explaining that the video was taken in front of Mahfud MD's house in Pamekasan, Madura.
"Mahfud MD's house in Madura, Pamekasan, was raided by the masses," said the narrator in the video.
