North Sumatra Deputy Governor: Friction Pilkada Do Not Make Divisions
Gunungsitoli - Deputy Governor of North Sumatra Musa Rajekshah (Ijeck) expressed his hope that the community would not be divided by the impact of the regional elections which will take place simultaneously in 23 regions in North Sumatra.
"Although there is bound to be friction due to differences in choices during the regional elections, we hope that friction will not cause divisions," he said at the Golkar Party consolidation event in Gunungsitoli, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, December 1.
Ijeck, who is also Chairman of the North Sumatra Golkar Party, asked all regional head candidates who run for themselves and political parties that compete to comply with the rules set by the government.
Political parties must show maturity as a political party, not by doing slander or fighting against each other, using bad issues that can cause prolonged hurt.
"I ask all Golkar Party DPC heads throughout the Nias Islands to remind their cadres not to do this," he ordered.
Ijeck also conveyed to all Golkar Party DPC heads in five regencies / cities throughout the Nias Islands it is obligatory to win regional head candidate pairs supported by the party.
"I want all candidate pairs supported by the Golkar Party to really use the Golkar Party and not only ask for administrative support," he said.
