A House In Pamekasan Was Raided By A Mob, Mahfud: Someone Has Taken Care Of It
JAKARTA - The Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Mahfud MD confirmed that his house in Bugih Village, Pamekasan City, East Java was in a safe condition after being raided by the masses. Mahfud confirmed that a group of masses came to his residence, which is currently occupied by his biological mother.
"Oh yes (there are those who are upset, red)," said Mahfud when contacted by reporters, Tuesday, December 1.
However, this incident did not cause any harm. When the crowd arrived, Mahfud said that there were parties who secured and handled the incident at his residence. However, he did not mention who had secured his residence in Pamekasan.
"There is already taking care of it," he said.
Mahfud also made sure that his mother who lived in the house was safe and closely guarded. "Mother is safe," he said.
It is known that a video was circulating showing a crowd who came to Mahfud's house. Based on information, the crowd arrived at around 13.45 WIB.
It is not clear why the crowd came to Mahfud's residence. However, the crowd conveyed their aspirations to the Pamekasan Police and requested that the Grand Imam of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI), Rizieq Shihab, not be subject to legal sanctions.
