Both of them were present representing the ranks of players and filmmakers behind the Blood loss series, which this year received the honor of being chosen as the first Indonesian series to debut in the On Screen program on Friday (7/10) at BIFF 2022, which was also the world premiere before being released on Disney+ Hotstar in 2023.
Blood Heart is an unforgettable experience for me. Apart from being the first horror series I starred in, 'Blood Heart' also brought me a special opportunity to be a part of the 2022 BIFF event," Mikha said in a release, Wednesday, October 5.
According to Micah, Blood loss brings a story that is familiar to the Indonesian people, but also has an element of mystery with universal attraction, making this series a special show that viewers can enjoy from all over the world.
"Hopefully Blood loss can provide an unforgettable experience for the audience who will later watch this series on Disney+ Hotstar," he said.
Meanwhile, Deva added that the presence of 'Blood Heart' as part of BIFF 2022 is an extraordinary achievement for him and his team.
"Hopefully this achievement can also be a special offering for the Indonesian film industry and inspire more local talents to continue to work," he said.
As representatives from Indonesia, the two of them looked stunning in their clothes designed by Indonesian designers inspired by the stories and characters of the Blood loss series.
Deva wore a suit that was dominated by dark colors by designer Rusli Hadiwinata. Meanwhile, Mikha Tambayong looked elegant in a maroon dress designed by Jeffry Tan in the red carpet event BIFF 2022.
Blood loss is a series by the director known for its series of thriller films and series and horror, namely Kimo Stamboel. The series is produced exclusively for Disney+ Hotstar by Rapi Films.
The Blood loss series tells the story of Wulan and Esa, two modern people from different families whose lives changed after watching how their families became targets of black magic attacks.
