The KPK Asks Anyone Called In To Development Garuda Indonesia Cases Present
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has asked the parties summoned regarding the development of alleged bribery at PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk to fulfill the investigator's summons. Their information is needed to strengthen the evidence.
"KPK hopes that in the process of collecting evidence for this case, including those who are summoned as witnesses can cooperate in being present in front of the investigative team," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Wednesday, October 5.
Ali ensured that the KPK would continue to resolve the alleged corruption that occurred. Former members of the DPR who are said to be suspects will be brought to justice to account for their actions.
The public is asked to actively monitor the development of the alleged bribery case at the state-owned company.
"Of course we need this as a form of accountability for the actions taken by the KPK," he said.
As previously reported, the KPK has named a former member of the Indonesian House of Representatives and one company as a suspect in the bribery case of PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk. This determination is the development of the 2010-2015 Airbus aircraft procurement case.
It was not specified who the former members of the DPR and the company were suspects. A new name will be conveyed by the anti-corruption commission in full along with efforts to force detention.
