Writers 'Jakarta Undercover' And Eggi Sudjana Sue Jokowi To The Court On Allegations Of Fake Ijazah

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo was sued to the Central Jakarta District Court for the alleged submission of a fake diploma to the General Elections Commission (KPU) as one of the nomination requirements in the 2019 Presidential Election (Pilpres).Jokowi became Defendant I in this lawsuit. In addition, several parties were also sued, namely the General Elections Commission to become Defendant II, the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) became Defendant III, and the Minister of Education and Culture (Mendikbud) as Defendant IV.This lawsuit was filed by the author of the book "Jokowi Undercover", Bambang Tri Mulyono. One of the plaintiff's attorneys is Eggi Sudjana."We, Bambang Tri Mulyono's advocacy team, have filed a lawsuit against the law at the Central Jakarta District Court with Case Number 592/Pdt.G/2022/PN Jkt.Pst, dated October 3, 2022," Eggi Sudjana wrote in her statement, Tuesday, October 4.Eggi Sudjana said that his client suspected that Jokowi had committed an unlawful act (PMH) by providing fake documents with an elementary school diploma (SD), junior high school (SMP), and high school (SMA) for Joko Widodo's congregation in the 2019 presidential election process.This certificate is one of the requirements for the nomination of the incident as stated in Article 9 Paragraph (1) letter r of KPU Regulation Number 22 of 2018. The plaintiff asked the Central Jakarta District Court to grant the full claim, one of which sentenced Jokowi to quit the position of President of the Republic of Indonesia."One of the demands is to punish President Jokowi so that he declares his resignation from his position as President of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2019-2024 period," said Eggi Sudjana.
