Electricity Dead Tuesday Morning South Korean Children Grumble, PLN: There Is A Network Problem Of 150 Kilo Volt
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta area, especially South Jakarta, this morning at around 09.00 WIB experienced another blackout, aka the power outage. This blackout occurred around Mampang, Sudirman, Kuningan, Pasar Minggu, Senayan, SCBD, Duren Tiga, Kemang, and Antasari.
General Affairs PLN, Jakarta Raya Distribution Main Unit (PLN Disjaya), Emir Muhaimin, explained that the blackout was caused by a network disruption of 150 kilo volts.
"Currently, PLN is working on normalizing the flow of electricity," he said, in an official statement received by VOI, Tuesday, December 1.
Emir said, currently the areas that have been successfully normalized are Sudirman, SCBD, Taman Rasuna Mampang, part of Kuningan, and Antasari.
"At 09.45 WIB, PLN has succeeded in normalizing 70 percent. Meanwhile, 30 percent is not normal, namely the Rasuna and Duren Tiga areas," he said.
According to Emir, PLN customers can view information about the blackout areas through the website pelita.plnjaya.co.id.
"Or contact the 123 contact center to get information on electrical disruptions and other electrical service information," he said.
For your information, news of power outages is also popular on social media, such as Twitter. A number of people complained about the blackout by mentioning the official account of PT PLN (Persero), namely @ pln_123.

Then, the @sillysampi account said that the blackout in the South Jakarta area was caused by a burning substation.
According to @ pln_123, parts of South Jakarta (Mampang, Pejaten, Bangka) have had power cuts because a substation has caught fire. It's starting to fix. I know because I reported interference over the phone. The clerk's description was very clear and helpful.

Previously, DKI Jakarta and its surroundings also experienced a power cut on Sunday, November 1. At that time, the electricity went out due to a disruption to the 500 KV Extra High Voltage Air Line (SUTET) in Muara Tawar at 12.58 WIB. This then caused disruption in the supply of electricity to the capital.
