Positive COVID-19, Anies Isolated Independently In An Official Home Without A Family
JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan declared himself positive for COVID-19 since Monday, November 30. Anies will also carry out independent isolation for 14 days.
"As directed, I will undergo independent isolation and follow the treatment procedures set by the medical team," said Anies in an official statement, Tuesday, December 1.
Anies said he would carry out independent isolation at the official residence of the Governor of DKI Jakarta. In this official residence, Anies admitted that he would stay alone for 14 days.
"I will live alone, while my family will continue to live in the private house we live in," said Anies.
Anies has previously asked everyone who has interacted in the past few days to have a PCR swab done.
"Anyone who has met me in the last few days can contact the nearest puskesmas to undergo a swab test," said Anies.
In addition, Anies has ordered the DKI Health Office to contact anyone who previously had close contact with him.
"Of course the tracing team from the Health Office will also record and contact my close contacts. All related procedures will be carried out," he said.
