Social Minister Risma Regarding Victims Of A Conflict Of Tragedy: His Father Dies, Children Are Still In School, We Handling Special

JATIM - The Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) provides support for the survival of the families of the victims of death due to the Kanjuruhan Tragedy, Malang Regency, East Java (East Java).

Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Tri Rismaharini said a number of families received special helping hand from his party, such as the victim who died as the backbone of the family.

"But there is something special, for example the father who died, the children are still in school, we handle it specifically. There are only a few semesters of college, we handle it specifically, we handle this case specifically. We handle this specifically, there is no father, we will handle it specifically, later after this," said Social Minister Risma in her statement on Monday, October 3.

For this reason, Social Minister Risma said, her party is still collecting data on a number of families who need support for their sustainability.

"Especially those left by the father who has been earning a living, that's what we handle specifically socially, for their children," said Social Minister Risma.

Risma also expressed her condolences on behalf of President Joko Widodo and the central government.

In addition, he will also provide assistance to victims who were injured as a result of the incident.

In addition to compensation for heirs, the Ministry of Social Affairs has also moved to help evacuate victims at the stadium during a riot, Saturday, October 1, through the Peace Pioneers (Pordam) and Disaster Preparedness cadets (Tagana), followed by data collection on the heirs of the deceased.

Through the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) belonging to the Ministry of Social Affairs throughout Indonesia, to this day, Psychosocial Support Services for families of the deceased are also provided. In addition, support for families of minor and serious injuries both in hospitals and those in funeral homes.

The Ministry of Social Affairs through PKH HR also collects data on heirs who have components for pregnant women, early childhood, school children, the elderly and disabled to be included in DTKS as a database for recipients of social assistance.
