Cemooh Prince Andrew As He Walked Behind Queen Elizabeth II's Petition, Two Mendicated By Police
JAKARTA - Two men were charged with ridicule by shouting at Prince Andrew, while walking behind Queen Elizabeth II's coffin.
Thousands of people lined up at Royal Mile to pay their respects when Queen Elizabteh II's coffin was brought from Holyroodhouse Palace to St kuarty Cathedral inbatan, Scotland last month.
Footage on social media shows a community member mocking the prince as he walks with his brothers, including King Charles III, in the back of the hearse.
The Scottish Police charged a 22-year-old man for violating order in connection with the incident.
It caused a brief disruption, after ridicule was pulled from the crowd by members of the community, prompting the police to intervene.
On Sunday, Scottish Police said two people had been charged "related to the attack".
"Two men, both of whom are 34, have been arrested and charged with assault, following the incident at Royal Mile at around 14:50 a.m. on Monday, September 12, 2022," the police said.
"Reports will be sent for the consideration of the prosecutor's fiscal care."
In total, 13 people were arrested in Scotland in an event related to the series of processions of the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
To note, Prince Andrew was not allowed to wear his military uniform at Queen Elizabeth II's funeral, as his title was removed earlier this year due to his connection with the late sexual offender Jeffrey Epstein.
