Android Twitter Now Has A More Modern DM Display

JAKARTA - Chat privately on Direct Message (DM) is now getting more comfortable, thanks to the new interface that Twitter presents for Android users. The company presents an Android experience that is equivalent to its iOS interface.

Twitter apps on Android rarely get visual updates over the years, but those that have just arrived, although they are small enough, are meant to provide users with a smoother and more consistent experience as a whole.

Twitter said it would work redesigning its DM on Android after its team evaluated the experience on the OS and decided it needed improvement.

Updates also present improved composers, as well as better tweet successors, context for message requests, and clearer captions. This social network also introduces improvements to interface performance and interface responseivity.

Now, when Android users open their DMs, they will no longer see the usual box design, even more modern.

Users can now also see if they have received messages requests from people they might know. The three-dot menu in the upper right corner of UI has also been replaced with the Settings symbol.

Twitter said it saw the need to improve the way people use DMs on Twitter on Android devices, which is why they decided to change interfaces.

Launching TechCrunch, Monday, October 3, the launch of this new interface was carried out because Twitter has been working to improve the experience of DM for users over the past year.

In February, the company launched the ability for users to pin up to six DM conversations to the top of their inboxes to provide easier access.

The microblogging social network also launched an option for users to search for certain messages in their DM last March.

Last year, Twitter made some long-awaited changes to DMs, including the ability to send DM tweets to multiple people at once in individual conversations and began grouping messages by day.
