Nurmansjah And Riza Patria's Efforts To Seek The Sympathy Of DKI DPRD Members
JAKARTA - Nurmansjah Lubis (PKS) and Ahmad Riza Patria (Gerindra Party) began to make efforts to seek sympathy for 106 members of the DKI DPRD for the 2019-2024 period. They are both candidates for deputy governor of DKI who need the votes of members of the DKI DPRD.
Secretary of the PKS DPRD DKI Faction Ahmad Yani said, Nurmansjah would be swift to visit the DKI parliament. PKS will arrange the schedule for Nurmansjah's introduction to the party factions in the DPRD.
"Later we will introduce the cawagub from PKS to the factions in the DPRD so that they can be closer to each other. If you don't know, it doesn't matter. If you don't love, don't vote," Yani said in Jakarta, Sunday, January 26.
"In later introductions, it can also be conveyed what the existing factions wish to be able to build input as cawagub to Nurmansjah," he added.
Yani is aware that even though Nurmansjah served as a member of the DKI DPRD for two terms, 60 percent of the 2019-2024 DPRD members are new faces, so it needs more introduction.
However, the old DPRD members, Yani believed, still had a personal closeness with Nurmansjah. They claimed they would vote and invite other members to vote for Nurmansjah.
"Pak Nurmansjah has been in parliament for a long time, 10 years. He has more value than the other candidates (Ahmad Riza Patria). This will be an opportunity, the old DKI DPRD members have an emotional connection, so they can all be ready to help win," he said. "said Yani.
If Nurmansjah will go to each faction, Riza is calmer. He felt that he did not need to do political lobbying with each faction to gain support from DPRD members. He said, his acquaintance with DPRD members could be done through digital media.
"There are no special lobbies, our discussions can be carried out through the media. Now this is a digital era. So, I have no special lobbying for DPRD members. We leave it completely to DPRD members," said Riza.
For information, Nurmansjah Lubis and Riza Patria replaced Agung Yulianto and Ahmad Syaikhu as the previous vice governor candidates.
Riza has been elected as a member of parliament for two terms and now serves as Deputy Chairperson of Commission V DPR RI. Riza has also participated in the general election for the governor of DKI Jakarta as a candidate for deputy governor alongside Hendardji Soepandji, in 2012.
Meanwhile, Nurmansjah served as a member of the DKI DPRD for two terms. He was a member of the DKI DPRD for the 2004-2009 and 2009-2013 periods.
Currently, the DPRD is arranging the schedule for the joint leadership meeting (rapimgab). In the Rapimgab, the DPRD will ratify the rules for the election of DKI Deputy Governor that have been drawn up by a special committee (special committee).
In addition, the DPRD formed a voter committee (panlih) which was in charge of the election process, continued to carry out the election by voting from members of the council.
The election plenary session will be held if the number of members of the DKI DPRD who are present meets the quorum requirements, namely 50 percent plus 1 person. The number of members of the DKI DPRD is 106 people. Thus, a meeting is considered a quorum if at least 54 members are present.
There are two election processes that will be held by the DPRD. First, the elected cawagub must get 50 percent + 1 of the number of DPR members present. Second, the cawagub can win the election if it is elected the most by DPRD regardless of the number of members present.
