Thailand 2022 MotoGP Qualification Results: Marco Bezzecchi Rebut Pole Position

JAKARTA Ducati racer Marco Bezzecchi successfully won the pole position of the 2022 Thai MotoGP Grand Prix. This is the first pole position for Valentino Rossi's team in the most elite race.

Qualification took place at the Buriram Circuit on Saturday, October 1 evening WIB. Bezzecchi managed to become the fastest with a time of 1 minute 29,671 seconds.

Jorge Martin, who took the second fastest, finished by a time difference of +0.021 seconds. Meanwhile, Francesco Bagnaia successfully completed the top three with a time of +0.104 seconds.

The time record carved by Bezzecchi managed to pass Fabio Quartararo's previous record in MotoGP. This year, Quartararo will have to start the race tomorrow from fourth place.

Quartararo was followed by compatriot Johann Zarco in fifth position. The five other riders who followed in a row filled the top ten were Epea Bastianini, Jack Miller, Marc Marquez, Luca Marini, and Alex Rins.
