The Indonesian Masters Golf Tournament Presents With A World Prestious Label, The Prize Is Rp22.9 Trillion!
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Master golf tournament was again held as one of the closing events for the 2022 competition season with a prestigious label in the world.
The tournament, which will be held at the Royale Jakarta Golf Club on December 1-4, will also compete for a total prize of 1.5 million dollars (Rp 22.9 trillion). Not only that, but the Indonesia Masters is also included in the Asian Tour agenda of the prestigious International Series.
The year 2022 will be the 10th time the Indonesia Masters will be held after being absent for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Welcoming the holding of the Indonesia Masters, Jimmy Masrin as the Founder of the Indonesian Masters and Chairman of the Asian Tour said, this tournament came with more interesting developments than the previous edition.
We are very proud to be able to announce and confirm the tenth Indonesian Masters tournament. Especially because this year we came back with so many interesting developments," said Jimmy Marsin during a press conference in Kuningan, Jakarta on Thursday, September 29 at noon WIB.
Jimmy confirmed the tournament would be the world's prestigious golf event. He said it was supported by the status of the competition that was included in the elite and the prize race was fantastic.
By being part of the International Series, the Indonesian Masters will join the ranks of the elite competition. There is a struggle for millions of dollars in prizes that will be attended by various extraordinary players and have never existed before in Asia," he said.
"We are very happy that the Indonesian Masters will be the event that represents Indonesia in this interesting initiative," concluded Jimmy.
The Indonesian Masters tournament was held for the first time in 2011 and won for three consecutive years by England golfer Lee Westwood. While Jazz Janewatananond from Thailand won the Asian Tour Order of Merit title when this competition was last held in 2019.
