Firm! KSP Moeldoko Calls The Case Of The Lukas Enembe Pures About Law, Not Politics
JAKARTA - Presidential Chief of Staff (KSP) Moeldoko said the case being handled by the KPK regarding alleged project gratuities from the APBD with the suspect Papua Governor Lukas Enembe was purely a legal case and had nothing to do with politics."I might be able to speak even harder, because this is a matter of pure law, not a political issue," said Moeldoko at the Bina Graha Building, Jakarta, Antara, Thursday, September 29.In handling legal cases, he said, there should be no exceptions. All parties have the same position in the law, he stressed. "So anyone must be held accountable before the law, there are no exceptions," he said.He hopes that all parties support the legal process, including the one that ensnared the Governor of Papua Lukas Enembe."If they are under the protection of the people under the influence of Lukas Enembe, do the TNI need to be deployed for that? If needed, what can you do," said Moeldoko. He also reminded that President Joko Widodo has allocated a large enough budget for the development and even distribution of welfare in Papua."Don't let the affirmative policy be misappropriated for personal gain. Well, we'll just have to wait for the legal process," he said.Meanwhile, the KPK has summoned Lukas Enembe for questioning as a suspect at the KPK Building, Jakarta, Monday, September 26.However, Lukas did not fulfill the KPK's summons on the grounds that he was still sick. The call was the second time for Lukas Enembe after he did not attend a summons as a witness on Monday (12/9).The KPK regrets the attitude of Lukas Enembe who chose not to comply with the summons of the KPK investigation team.Previously, Tuesday (27/9), the KPK examined witness Director of Asia Cargo Airlines Revy Dian Permata Sari as a witness regarding the rental of private jets or private jets by Lukas Enembe (LE) and his family."The witness' knowledge was explored, including the existence of several private jet rentals carried out by LE and his family," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri in Jakarta, Wednesday (28/9).
