Had Disconnected By River Vendors, Border Roads In The Great Sajingan Of West Kalimantan Can Already Be Passed
KALBAR - The Regent of Sambas, Satono, asked the public not to worry about crossing the border road, precisely in Sajingan Besar District, West Kalimantan (Kalbar). The road was cut off by a swift river current.
"People are no longer worried about roads on the border. Videos and photos of roads circulating in the community are currently being cut off. They can be passed smoothly," he said when contacted in Sambas, West Kalimantan, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, September 28.
The national road was hit by river currents when it rained on Tuesday, September 27. The road's decision had hampered community activities from and to Sambas.
Satono responded to the road by directly coordinating with the Ministry of Public Works, and the West Kalimantan National Road Implementation Center (BPJN) to immediately make repairs.
"After receiving reports from the public, I immediately coordinated with the Ministry of Public Works and the National Road Hall, they responded quickly to the incident. Thank God, the broken road has been repaired and can now be passed by the general public. He expressed his gratitude for the existing reports and the quick response from related parties. So that community activities for various things can return to normal," he said.
