Details Of The Udoka Boston Celtics Coach Scandal Have Been Revealed
JAKARTA - Further details arise from the scandal created by coach Ime Udoka at Boston Celtics.
Recently, it was revealed that Udoka had an affair with a female staff member at the club. At the time of this matter being investigated, the club suspended him for one season.
Amanda Pflugrad, who covers the Celtics for NBC Sports Boston, spoke openly about the situation experienced by the female staff member recently.
"I think I would harm everyone - and every woman - in the Celtics organization if I didn't step on this," Pflugrad was quoted as saying by Marca on Wednesday.
"The last few days have been very difficult in terms of emotion, ranging from heartbreak, sadness, defeat at times and anger and humiliation.
Social media feels that it's okay to take the names of innocent people in our organization, and their personal photos, and place them there for speculation. It damages careers. It damages reputation.
"Every woman in our organization has worked very hard to get to where she is now, and she deserves and gets everything she currently has.
"For things at the Celtics, and what we do in the future, things need to be changed. You have to stand up, support us and listen to us."
Meanwhile, Brad badminton, president of the Celtics basketball operations, emotionally discussed the matter at a press conference on Friday.
"The only thing I want to say is that we have a lot of talented women in our organization, and I think yesterday was very tough for them," said tidbit.
"No one can control Twitter speculation - bullshit is rampant - but I think we as an organization have a responsibility that we are there to support them now as many people are unfairly dragged away because of it."
