Harry Maguire Sorry
JAKARTA - Manchester United defender and England defender Harry Maguire is back in the spotlight. His blunder in the match against Germany at the UEFA Nations League became a joke.
Maguire was also criticized, just like he experienced with Manchester United. He was deemed inappropriate to defend England.
The Blunder Maguire occurred when Germany scored the first goal. At that time, he misfeeded until the ball fell on a German player.
Worse yet, while guarding the opposing player, Maguire actually committed a foul that resulted in a penalty.
Maquire realized his mistake. After the match ended with a score of 3-3, he apologized.
"The mistake was part of the match, I'm sorry," Maguire wrote on his social media account.
"The opponent returned and a great spirit brought us back to the game. Take the positive side and can't wait to get to Qatar."
"Hard times will make us stronger," continued the former Leicester City player.
England coach Gareth Southgate has stated he will not leave Maguire. He also understands the mistakes the player has made.
