JAKARTA - Former Director General of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Trade, Indra Sari Wisnu Wardhana, denied giving directions for special treatment to certain companies regarding the approval of crude palm oil (CPO) exports."I have never given directions to Farid (Director of Export for Agricultural Products and Forestry at the Ministry of Trade Farid Amir) to provide special treatment to certain companies in export approval," Indra said in a trial at the Corruption Court, Jakarta, Antara, Tuesday, September 27.In responding to the objection, Chief Justice Liliek Prisbawono Adi said that his party had the right to assess the truth of the allegations which were one of the assessments of the public prosecutor in the investigation report (BAP)."Regarding special treatment, it is an assessment from the public prosecutor in the minutes as an assessment (for the panel of judges) later," said Liliek.The form of special treatment as stated in the prosecutor's indictment, including on February 4, 2022, companies that are members of the Musim Mas Group, namely PT Agro Makmur Raya and PT Inti Benua Perkasatama apply for export approval, but it turns out that some of the requirements are incomplete, such as tax invoice documents from retail.Even so, on February 7, 2022, Indra issued export approvals for the two companies, namely PT Agro Makmur Raya with a total export of 1,490,000 kilograms and a total domestic market obligation (DMO) of 298,000 kilograms and PT Inti Benua Perkasatama with a total export of 11,229,000 kilograms and a total of 2,245,800 kilograms of DMO.Furthermore, on February 7, 2022, Indra Sari also issued export approval for PT Wira Inno Mas with a total export of 12,500,000.000 kilograms and a total of 2,500,000 kilograms of DMO, but he did not confirm the distribution of cooking oil to retail. Next, for PT Mikie Oleo Nabati Industri, export approvals given reached 172,800 kilograms and the number of DMOs was 34,560 kilograms.Then on February 8, 2022, Indra issued two export approvals for two companies in the Wilmar Group, namely PT Wilmar Nabati Indonesia and PT Multi Mas Nabati Asahan.On February 9, 2022, PT Multi Mas received export approval with a total of 15,923.00 kilograms and a total of 3,184,600 kilograms of DMO.The prosecutor also revealed that in February 2022, MP Tumanggor from the Wilmar Group gave an envelope and conveyed to Farid who carried out the verification task that Indra Sari asked MP Tumanggor to give the money to the team that processed the export approval. Farid was also willing to accept the envelope because it was a directive from Indra.A few days later, Farid confirmed the receipt of money from MP Tumanggor to Indra who said "yes".The contents of the envelope amounted to 10,000 Singapore dollars or equivalent to Rp. 100 million. Furthermore, Farid distributed the money to the verifier team for the issuance of export approvals, namely Ringgo, Demak Marseulina, Almira, Sabrina, and Fadro.
