Disney Plans To Release New Star Wars Games Every Six Months Once
JAKARTA - An unnamed source revealed that Disney has plans to release a new Star Wars video game every 6 months.
Disney has adopted a very similar approach to Marvel and Star Wars in terms of the game market, and their efforts to expand the presence of both titles in the gaming industry have been very noticeable in recent years.
So, the news that Tom Henderson from Insider Gaming plans to release the title Star Wars every six months isn't something surprising.
The improvement in the development of video games for the Star Wars game comes after Electronic Arts (EA) lost its exclusive access to franchises.
So far, according to Insider Gaming records, eight Star Wars titles have been announced in development, many of which do not have a scheduled release date.
The eight games are upcoming titles whose rumors have spread. The Henderson source also stated that there are several more titles that are still in pre-development stage.
Some of the eight titles that have been announced are believed to be released sometime in the future. Respawn has even informed that Star Wars target: Fallen Order will be released in 2023.
