KIB Is Called Ecek-Ecek, Golkar Serang Balik NasDem Which Is Considered Not Yet Clear The Direction Of The Coalition

JAKARTA - The Golkar Party has reacted to the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB) which was formed with PAN and PPP, called the equity coalition and not serious by NasDem Party elite Zulfan Lindan. The chairman of the Golkar Party DPP Lamhot Sinaga emphasized that his party was serious about forming a coalition and had even declared cooperation for the 2024 presidential election. Unlike NasDem, which is not yet clear in the direction of the coalition. "The PAN and PPP volunteers, the three parties that declared the coalition first, we seriously look at 2024. In contrast to NasDem, until now the direction of the coalition and its presidential candidates has not been clear," Lamhot told reporters, Tuesday, September 27.

Lamhot assessed that Zulfan's statement even strengthened NasDem to be too busy dealing with the kitchens of other parties. He also asked the party created by Surya Paloh to take care of his own party, which is still confused about forming a coalition with PKS and NasDem.

"It's better for them to focus on who is in coalition for 2024 later," said Alamhot.

According to the member of Commission VII of the DPR, the KIB formed by Golkar, NasDem and PPP have taken three steps above NasDem. "The stages of the KIB process are three steps ahead of NasDem," he claimed. Lamhot also denied that KIB was formed as a brokerage to carry the Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo. In fact, he said, the right had been confirmed by the chairman of the Golkar Party, Airlangga Hartarto.

"Pak Airlangga has also denied that KIB is not for Ganjar. Only those with Golkar PAN and PPP will become KIB candidates in 2024," said Lamhot.

Previously, NasDem politician Zulfan Lindan said that the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB) initiated by Golkar, PPP and PAN were not serious or checking. Zulfan said this was in line with the discourse on the announcement of the coalition formed by NasDem, PKS and Democrats. Reportedly, NasDem agreed to form a coalition with PKS and Democrats and will be announced on November 10, 2022, in conjunction with the declaration of Anies Baswedan's candidacy. "Lain, if KIB is not equated with this coalition (NasDem, PKS, Democrats). KIB includes the check-check coalition," said Zulfan Lindan, Monday, September 26. In fact, Zulfan admitted that he heard news that KIB was a forum for Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo if not nominated as President of 2024 by the PDI-P.

Zulfan assessed that the coalition formed by Golkar, PPP, and PAN was of different quality from the coalition formed by PKS, NasDem, and Democrats. Zulfan also doubts about the solidity of KIB because one of its party members was hit by an internal conflict.

"We'll see if the PPP is already in a mess. There are still efforts to go to the PTUN and macems. How do we want to say it's solid, right? We don't know what else happened to Golkar or PAN," said Zulfan again.
