KP Minister Edhy Prabowo Got OTT, Lobster Seed Exports Are Still Being Evaluated
JAKARTA - The Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment who also serves as the Ad Interim Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan has opened up opportunities for export of shrimp fries or lobster seeds after evaluation.
This evaluation was carried out because the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, Edhy Prabowo, was named a suspect in receiving bribes related to the export of fries or lobster seeds.
"The policy regarding lobsters is still being evaluated. Yesterday, the Coordinating Minister's message that (the lobster seed export policy) is good, just keep going," said Coordinating Minister for Marves Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Jodi Mahardi in a written statement to reporters on Sunday, November 29. .
He conveyed that Luhut asked all parties not to be afraid of dealing with the law if they had followed the applicable procedures.
"Don't be afraid if it's true," he said, imitating Luhut's statement.
"During the execution there will be no games of corruption or collusion. But once again we are waiting for the results of the evaluation," he added.
When there are no problems with the results of this evaluation, Jodi said, Luhut will continue the policy because it is considered to be of benefit to the community.
"We have to distinguish between the wrong policy and the wrong execution or it has been misused," he said.
It is known, the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) decided to temporarily suspend the issuance of a Letter of Determination of the Release Time (SPWP) for the export of lobster clear seeds (BBL). This was in line with the arrest of KKP Minister Edhy Prabowo.
The decision to temporarily suspend the issuance of SPWP is based on Circular Letter Number B. 22891 / DJPT / PI.130 / XI / 2020 signed by Plt. KKP Director General of Capture Fisheries Muhammad Zaini Thursday, November 26.
In the SE KKP, the reasons for termination are explained in order to improve the management of clear lobster seeds as regulated in Permen KP No.12 of 2020 concerning Management of Lobster (Panulirus spp.), Crab (Scylla spp.), And Crab (Portunus spp.) In the Management Area State Fisheries of the Republic of Indonesia.
KKP Secretary General, Antam Novambar said the temporary suspension will take effect from Thursday, November 26, until an undetermined time.
In addition, said Antam, the export stop was in the context of considering the process of revising the Government Regulation on Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) within the KKP.
"The circular is issued today and is valid until an undetermined time limit," he said, in a written statement received by VOI, Thursday, November 26.
KKP, said Antam, provides an opportunity for exporting companies that have BBL in their packing houses to immediately remove these commodities from Indonesia. "No later than one day after the circular is published," he said.
