Zumi Zola Was Called By The KPK Regarding Allegations Of A Palu Ketok Soap After A Conditional Free

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned former Jambi Governor Zumi Zola today, Monday, September 27. He was questioned as a witness related to the alleged bribery of a hammer or discussion of the Jambi RAPBD in the 2017 and 2018 Fiscal Years.

"The investigation was carried out at the KPK Office," said KPK's spokesman for prosecution, Ali Fikri, in a written statement, Tuesday, September 27.

The newly acquired Zumi is expected to fulfill the summons. Investigators need his statement to investigate allegations of racism when he was in office.

Previously, the KPK named a new suspect related to the alleged bribery in the discussion of the Jambi Province RAPBD. There are 28 people who have been named as suspects.

As previously reported, this case has ensnared a number of names. Among them are former Jambi Governor Zumi Zola to Jambi Provincial Acting Secretary Erwan Malik, Acting Head of the PUPR Office of Jambi Province Arfan, and Regional Assistant 3 Jambi Province Saifudin.

In addition, a number of members of the Jambi Provincial DPRD were also entangled. Then, there is also a private party named Paut Syakarin who is a suspect.

He is suspected of being one of the private parties who act as a funder and provide additional knock-on money for members of Commission III of the Jambi DPRD with an amount of Rp. 150 million each related to the 2017 Jambi Provincial RAPBD.
