Become A Main Producer, Greyson Chance Calls Ellen DeGeneres Manipulative
JAKARTA - Greyson Chance is a child singer who has now grown up as an adult musician. He became increasingly popular after appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres' show because it went viral performing Lady Gaga's Paparazzi song.
Year after year, Greyson Chance opened his voice about the beginning of his career. He said Ellen DeGeneres was a manipulative figure against him and influenced her career.
"I've never met someone more manipulative, selfish, and opportunistic than him (Ellen DeGeneres)," Greyson Chance told Rolling Stone.
After appearing on the show, Ellen DeGeneres brought her together with Troy Carter and Guy Oseary. The two men are managers to Lady Gaga and Madonna.
Greyson Chance decided to join Ellen's record label, the eleveneven. Reportedly the label name was also inspired by Ellen who found Chance on the 11th.
The relationship between Greyson Chance and Ellen DeGeneres went well until DeGeneres' behavior was disturbing. Chance said the presenter had asked for a copy of Justin Bieber's documentary, Never Say Never.
He asked Greyson Chance to watch the film immediately. But Chance, who was working for 16 hours, felt tired and didn't have time to watch.
Relations are getting more and more strained when the album Truth Be Told, Part 1 (2012) is not successful on the market. Chance claims DeGeneres is starting to 'throw it away' followed by Interscope Records labels.
"I can't contact him. I can't talk to him. Whenever I come to the show, he smiles fake," said Greyson Chance.
He didn't even ask 'What are you doing?' so he just said 'This is what we'll talk about later. See you soon' he continued.
Greyson Chance decided to refuse an invitation to the event in March. In fact, at that time he was preparing a new album that could increase his popularity.
The first part of my career, I thank him and the team. But the reason I'm here is about an album, I don't owe you a favor. Because I myself raised myself. He wasn't seen there," said Greyson Chance.
On Thursday, September 22, Greyson Chance released his latest album, Palladium. This album marks his latest work after three years.
