Because The Export Of Lobster Seeds Was Stopped, This Company Admitted Losses And Could Not Pay Fishermen

JAKARTA - A company engaged in the export of clear lobster seeds, PT Teladan Cipta Samudra, admitted that it suffered losses after the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) stopped the issuance of the Certificate of Time of Release (SKWP) for the clear lobster seed export permit that was granted to the company.

President Director of PT Teladan Cipta Samudra Raditya Nursasongko said the loss was not only felt by the company, but also all partners and hundreds of fishermen who depend on the company for their livelihoods.

"All partners and hundreds of fishermen who depend on our company for their livelihoods have also suffered huge losses due to this unilateral dismissal," Raditya said in a written statement, quoted from Antara, Saturday, November 28.

Based on information compiled from the kkp.go.id website, PT. Teladan Cipta Samudra is listed as the company that invited the Coastal and Marine Resources Management Workshop (LPSPL) Attack of the Directorate General of Marine Spatial Management, KKP witnessed the activity of releasing clear lobster seeds in the Marine Conservation Area around Liwungan Island, Pandeglang Regency.

Raditya said that it would be unfair if a company that had been obedient to and obeyed all the rules set by the government would then be treated in this way.

He added that so far the company has not found any mistakes or negligence when carrying out these export activities as long as the company is appointed as an exporter of clear lobster seeds which is officially registered with the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries.

Moreover, said Raditya, the dismissal was carried out by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries through the Director General of Capture Fisheries via WhatsApp (WA) short messages to company staff, without being accompanied by an official letter as government agencies should have done.

"This makes us feel unfairly treated as a company that has so far complied and complied with all the rules set by the government," said Raditya.
