The Ministry Of Health Bangun 2 Centers For Health Control For Delegation Of The G20 Summit, One Especially For VVIP Guests
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) has prepared a control center for communication related to the health of the delegates of the G20 Summit (KTT) which will take place on November 15-16, 2022 in Bali.
Director of Health Services Governance of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Sunarto, M.Kes, said the delegates could contact the control center after arriving at an airport or hotel in Indonesia.
If the delegation experiences symptoms of fever, or severe illness, the control center can provide information so that health workers can direct delegates from clinics, mini ICUs and mobile teams to be referred to hospitals that have been appointed for health services.
The function of the health control center is a communication and coordination center between health workers, ambulances and referral hospitals of the G20 Summit.
At the control center, based on Antara's report, there is one general practitioner and two nurses with emergency competencies and fluent in English.
"We hope that the command center can be a means of communication, we will communicate with HT so that there is no signal interference. Then it is also equipped with a kind of GPS so that we know where our mobile team will move," said Sunarto.
In collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemenlu), the delegates will get a circular of information about health protocols before leaving for return and information regarding clinics, mini ICUs and referral hospitals for delegates from the G20 Summit.
In addition, the delegates will also find a way to install the PeduliLindung application. The information will be delivered within a maximum of one month before the arrival of the delegation.
Sunarto added that VVIP guests will also have a similar control center prepared, but it is located separate from the service for the delegates, and gets a referral to the designated hospital.
Although Sunarto said that in preparation for health services for the delegation of the G20 Summit, it is currently running well, the Ministry of Health still hopes for the support of all parties to prepare.
"The Ministry of Health still hopes for support and coordination from institutions, agencies, and community organizations, both the government and the private sector in perfecting the preparation and implementation of health services at the G20 Summit, because this brings the good name of the state. So it would be nice if everyone worked together for it," said Sunarto.
