270 Families In Bengkulu Are Isolated Due To Landslides At The Palek Rel, BPBD Still Waiting For An Incident Report

BENGKULU - A total of 270 families were isolated due to landslides that occurred on the Lori Express (Molek) Motorcycle track, which is a mode of public transportation in Lebong Village Marking Napal Putih District, North Bengkulu Regency, Bengkulu.Lebong Village Head Mark Supriadi said the Palek rail is also one of the access points of the Dusun Satu community, Lebong Village is intended to transport logistical needs."The landslide occurred yesterday afternoon due to heavy rains that hit the Lebong Duak Village area and its surroundings," Supriadi said when confirmed, Antara, Thursday, September 22.The landslide was caused by rain that occurred in the last few days so that the condition of the land was slippery and could not be passed by the vehicle. The landslide was caught on Wednesday evening. Luckily, no Olek passed so there were no casualties.Currently, several local communities are working together to clean up landslide material independently."If it rains a wooden bridge on the TMMD road, access to the car is also cut off and residents are also independently repairing it," he said.Meanwhile, the Head of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of North Bengkulu Regency, Eka Hendri, said that his party was still waiting for a report on the incident."Until now, we are still waiting for reports from the local sub-district head regarding the landslide that occurred in Lebong Village, marking," he said.
