Kapolsek Metro Tanah Abang Recovering From COVID-19

JAKARTA - Kapolsek Metro Tanah Abang Kompol Singgih Hermawan was declared cured of COVID-19.

"Currently the Kapolsek and the Wakapolsek Metro Tanah Abang have recovered from COVID-19," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Heru Novianto when opening a mass COVID-19 rapid test in Petamburan Village, Central Jakarta, reported by Antara, Friday, November 27.

Heru said, Kompol Singgih would return to duty on Saturday, November 28.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Chief of the Tanah Abang Police, Kompol Sri Wahyudi has tested negative for COVID-19 and is back on his way to activities.

Kompol Wahyudi was also present in the rapid test organized by the Kodim 0501 / JP in Petamburan, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.

Heru appealed to the public to continue to be aware of the dangers of COVID-19.

"Indeed, COVID-19 does not see position, does not see status. Everyone can be affected, starting from the government, TNI, police, all can be affected," he said.

Previously, the Head of Metro Jaya Police, Inspector General Fadil Imran, revealed that the Tanah Abang police chief, Kompol Singgih Hermawan and the Tanah Abang police deputy chief, Kompol Sri Wahyudi tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.

"Hopefully the Head of Petamburan Urban Village can recover, as well as the Kapolsek Metro Tanah Abang Kompol Singgih and the Deputy Head of the Metro Tanah Abang Police," said Fadil while monitoring the mass rapid test activities in Petamburan, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, some time ago.

Fadil said that the three of them might have contracted COVID-19 while carrying out their duties to guard community activities.
